How do I apply a DTF transfer with a iron?
Applying DTF transfers with a household iron is easy if you follow the steps carefully. Here’s a simple guide:

1. Position Your Design
Place your DTF transfer design onto the fabric in the desired location. Use Thermal Heat Tape to secure it in place if needed, preventing any movement during ironing.

2. Press
Set your iron to a high temperature, ideally cotton/linen setting, which is typically the hottest safe setting for most fabrics. Avoid any steam settings, as these can interfere with adhesion.

Before pressing, place a Silicone Garment Protector or parchment paper over the transfer to shield it. Then, press down firmly for about 8-10 seconds with hard, even pressure.

3. Peel Hot After a Few Seconds
With Easy Peel Technology, you can peel either hot or cool. Wait a few seconds before peeling off the film. If any parts of the design do not stick, lay it back down and press again with added pressure. You may need to increase the heat in 15°F increments until you achieve full adhesion.

4. Final Press
For a final touch, place a piece of parchment paper or a thin layer of fabric over the design, then press again to increase durability and remove any unwanted shine. For a shinier finish, use a Protective Guard Sheet instead.
